A photo looks like a stopped moment. A camera collects light from that moment and records it as an image.
First, light passes through a lens. The lens bends the light and brings it to a small surface inside the camera. In a digital camera, this surface is called a sensor.
The sensor feels the light. It records bright areas, dark areas, and colors. This information becomes digital data.
After that, the camera or phone shows the data as a picture. That is why we can see photos on a screen.
In a dark place, there is less light for the sensor to record. This is why some photos look dark or blurry.
