Our hands touch many things every day: doors, phones, desks, and food. Even when we cannot see it, dirt and germs can stay on our hands.
Water alone can remove some of them. However, soap works better. Soap helps lift dirt and microbes from the skin.
Rubbing is also important. When we rub our palms, the backs of our hands, between our fingers, and under our nails, friction helps loosen dirt. Then clean running water can rinse it away.
Soap is not magic. It is a small tool. But when we use it carefully, it becomes a strong helper for everyday health.
